Indoor gardening originally consisted of plants that differ only about two or three when it began in the Victorian Era. The people who started indoor garden may have money to buy hibiscus and palms of hands and will place it in the family room or living room, but especially the rooms used for entertaining. Shortly after this era, many people do not want to be bothered with live plants indoors, so the tradition was lost.

African violet, begonia, bougainvillea, gardenia, geranium, and orchids are some of the most popular plants we use for indoor garden. They not only bring some color into the house, but also some scent, too.

Most greenhouse in your home and garden centers, nurseries, and commercial’ll let you know what type of pot mixture to use, what type of light exposure they need and how often you should water them. The common houseplants have the same age as we do. If some of your plants seem to be struggling a bit and they have been around a long time, probably time to replace them with new ones.
